Established in 1998, Ames Middle School is operated by the City of Chicago School District 299 and is located in Chicago. It has a library media center that houses more than 10 computers for student research, as well as offers extensive collection of books and reference materials. The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as photography club, young authors program, science fair, spelling bee, student government, team field trips, team-building courses, yearbook club and young authors program. It s academic curriculum includes technology, English, math, science, social studies and physical education. Ames Middle School provides various programs that include lighthouse program, variety show, yearbook committee, photographers, audiovisual team and clean green day.
