The McFetridge Sports Center, also known as the California Park, offers sports activities for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Located in Chicago, the center offers sports activities, including ice skating, gymnastics, hockey, baseball, boxing and tennis. Its facilities include a fitness center, playground, ice rink, baseball fields, swimming pools, and tennis and basketball courts. The center is owned and operated by the Chicago Park District, which maintains more than 7,300 acres of parkland, over 550 parks, beaches, museums, conservatories, historic lagoons, and bird and wildlife gardens. The Chicago Park District organizes special events, sports and entertainment programs.
