I agree with the previous author. I attend the event held this year at Apostolic Church of God. They were very organized, and most of all, the women of the house were the honorees, instead of some bigwig that had big pockets. Mr. and Mrs. Davis are truly angels, doing God's work with these women. The transformative stories were amazing! I will make a donation EVERY year!

On April 15, 2011 I attended Prosperity House,s 2nd year anniversary gathering, I must say that I was pleasantly suprised by the thoroughly coordinated affair. This event was held in Calumet City @ 12633 S. Ashland, a beautiful facility with ample parking space that was perfect for the guest's evening of entertainment and dining pleasure. There were a number of awards presented and each recipient was serenaded by the very talented musicians that performed. The host and hostess Mr. and Mrs. Davis were in fine form as they mingled with their guest and made sure that everyone was having a good time. I was very impressed with the theme of awarding beautiful glass leaf trophies to the honorees, this was symbolic of building a tree that boor many leaves to demonstrate how it takes many individuals to make a program such as Prosperity House work. The feast was top shelf which included delicious chicken, string beans and potatoes, tasty pasta, a fresh salad, with all the trimmings, and dessert. This was a four hour event that passed much too fast, everyone appeared to have a good time, I would encourage individuals and groups to contribute through donations/gifts to keep Prosperity House in the business of serving the community in such a classy manner.
