If you have a bit of free time between Christmas and New Year's Eve, now is the time to look for your spring/summer vacation getaways. I rented a 3 br last spring in Orlando, FL, for a week-long vacation with my husband and three grandkids, two pre-teen and one teen. Location was excellent. Close but not too close to everything. Our guests were friendly and helpful. I even ordered the groceries before we got there and that was wonderful. It saved me a trip to the grocery store with the kids. They delivered and put all the freezer and refrigerator items away. I have recommended this to others, and plan to return, without the kids and stay longer. I want to use roomlender.com again, but now I want to look for something just for the two of us, to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We rented a house in Cambridge, MA for a week over the summer using roomlender.com. This was probably the best vacation house for us so far and we travel several times a year and rent houses around the globe. The residence was even better than the pictures describe. And what makes is perfect is the feeling that you get after a just few minutes of being inside - "This could well be my real home " Great for a family stay, as well as for a group of friends or even a couple that wishes to get a real Boston/Cambridge feel for the price of a good hotel. I recently used roomlender.com to book a weekend getaway to Chicago. We rented a one bdr half a mile to main historic Old Town Chicago St. The place had great hardwood floors, wireless internet and cable, and high end gourmet kitchen appliances including a great coffee maker. There is also plenty of fantastic dining nearby if you can afford it, as well as great entertainment, with Steppenwolf Theatre just a short walk away. Not to mention Navy Pier, with its attractions such as the IMAX Theatre, Ferris Wheel and boat tours around the city, which is only 2 miles away. However, we spent most our time shopping at the Magnificent Mile mall which was the real reason for visiting Chicago and which was a mere 1.5 mile away.

My family (two adults + one child) traveled to Chicago in late October 2011 for a week-long vacation. Since we were traveling with a young child, we did not wish to stay in a hotel. Instead my wife suggested we stay in a home rental which could afford more flexibility around meal preparations, laundry, and the like. Upon reviewing a number of rental opportunities on roomlender.com, we settled upon a 2b/1ba apartment. We are fortunate that we did and I have to give credit to my wife and to the owners of the place since our stay was surprisingly uneventful, in the good sense!, from initial inquiry to post-travel completion.

I was in towns for a business convention and the place was right next to the hotel where the convention was and where the rooms cost hundreds of dollars a night. Room Lender is a great site if you're looking for vacation rentals from owners, being that is user friendly and has a lot of listings to choose from. The owner of the two-bedroom we rented was quick to reply. The great thing about this transaction was that, even though we paid in advance for the apartment, the owner didn't get the payment until after we settled in for the first night stay. I'm sure that she was as happy as we were to find that she was dealing with honest customers!

In my recent trip to Chicago, I was able to reserve a 2 bedroom furnished apartment, 1 and 1/2 bath unit, with washer & dryer, in downtown Chicago! We enjoyed out stay and will definitely use Room Lender again. Ideal business partner for independent lifestyle, added comfort, and lower costs compared to the limitations of a hotel room.

When you are looking to share or lease your apartment for short vacation or corporate rentals, RoomLender is the place to go. Posting an ad with your property is fast, easy, and free. Way better than craigslist! The more details and photographs included in your vacation rental, the better. We've only started doing it this past summer, and had a lot of inquiries not to mention and quite a few guests who stayed in Chicago for an extended weekend.

I was in Chicago for a conference and stayed for a week together with two co-workers in an apartment booked through Room Lender. I used Room Lender to book a short road trip in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The apartments we rented in New Orleans and Memphis were quite nice and almost luxurious since we spent quite a few nights in both cities. On the way up to Memphis, Room Lender offered nice suggestion and great accommodations that made out vacation quite memorable -a great alternative to cheap motels in the middle of nowhere or expensive downtown hotels.

I had a rented apartment just across the Millennium Park. Really nice location, downtown, close to bars and restaurants, and museums. The city looks great by night!!!! I will definitely go back when I'll have a chance. And i will try to get the same place if i can. I rented it trough a website, roomlender.com, which one of my coworkers recommended. Hello everyone! I am very excited about my trip next month. I planned a special Valentine vacation for me and my girlfriend. Our 1 year anniversary is on the 15th so we have a double celebration. And i want to give her a ring. Let me tell you guys, the staff from roomlender.com is awesome. I was planning my birth day with my girlfriends and had no idea where to go. I live in Chicago but i don't like winter at all. So i wanted to go in a "no snow place". We looked for some hotel rooms but they were out of our budget. So we decided to find something that we can rent for a few days. We spent a magical New Year’s eve in the Big Apple



Me and my girlfriend decided just a few days before Christmas to spend our New Years Eve in Time Square in NY. We were looking for a really nice place to stay for 3 days and we end up booking an apartment on the 10th Ave in Manhattan, trough www.roomlender.com.

For around the same money that we were suppose to pay at a New York hotel, we could actually rent a luxurious New York one bedroom apartment that came equipped with everything. We had large screen TV's, Xbox and a full equipped kitchen so we could make our own breakfast or snack.

We choose this location se we can be really close to downtown and feel the New York beat every minute of our stay and we are really happy that we could find this apartment in such a short time. Roomlender has a lot of bookings for New York and all of them are really nice places that can make anyone feel like home. We really looking forward for our next vacation .
