Horrible Billing Practices

Attempting to get Immediate Care to fix their mistake is beyond impossible. I really recommend you go to Enloe prompt Care instead - better facility and better care.

Bad Experience

I went in on a Monday for a tb test. We're required to get them for nursing school. I came back within the amount of time they asked me to: 48-72 hours. I showed up at the clinic at 4:30 pm and they were closed. My boyfriend managed to wave down a receptionist and she came to the door and told us we couldn't be seen because they were short staffed. I explained my test needed to be read that day, it couldn't be read by any other facility (which I'm sure they know), that I had already paid and I had work that evening and wouldn't be available to come

back. They told me to drive to Paradise instead. I explained that I worked soon and couldn't make the trip in time. They still denied me. They left me stuck with the choice between missing my work shift and paying another $75 for a service that they could have finished up with me in less than a minute. I won't be returning. The place is unprofessional and wants to rip you off.

Had a minor skin problem that was treated by PA. Nurse was OK, she did her job. Reception staff in-take and out were friendly and helpful. I left there with PA asking me "what are you still doing here". I had not been in this facility for over five years and am not the type of person that enjoys going to see a medical professional. I thought the PA was professional initially, which is all I care about, but left there telling myself that I probably would not return for medical treatment due to the PA's comment. I have insurance and pay my bills and I was not rude to ay staff member there.

I had to have a finger stitched up and was told there was no cost to have the stitches out. The care & treatment was great. However, when I went back for the removal of stitches, The PAC asked if I had and oozing from the would; said I did and she asked if I wanted a proscription. I said ok & she called in a prescription.

She didn't tell me that calling in that prescription would change the visit to an $88 dollar office visit. I didn't know this until I got the bill. I was also charged $100 for a finger splint that can be purchased on Amazon for less than $6. I protested with the owner who reduced the office visit to $25 and the cost of the splint to $35. (I had attached the Amazon info to my email)

The medical staff were great; the front office staff had little customer service skills.

I have been taking my children here for their whole lives. My oldest is 16. We love the doctors. The rest of the staff is very rude and unfriendly and the administrators completely ruined that place. They used to be open until 11pm and had a very friendly staff. Now they close at 9pm and everyone is rude, I take it you can get rude people for cheap. Well, as of a few weeks ago they stopped taking my children's Blue Cross insurance. It was the administrators decision I was told. So after taking my children there their whole lives I have to pay cash if I want to continue taking them there. I smell GREED!
