Provided by YP.comI have to agree with Tyana. I had the wrong tooth root canal done. I paid it but then when the tooth I asked for became infected I had to go back in. They charged me for both teeth and the second tooth took (wait for it) 5 visits to get fixed because apparently the lab messed up. About 9 visits total over a year to get a root canal. I will probably have my first credit card debt over this that I have ever had.
The bank says the Dr. claims he called me and left three voicemails to discuss this. Judging from Tyana's comment that makes more sense but I did not receive one voicemail.
I have a message for Dr. Tatla - you seem like an OK guy but when you make mistakes own up to them. You probably make more money by rushing everything, so when an error is made because of this (not paying attention to what tooth I needed done) all you have to do is write it off as a cost of doing more business. If you really make more money by cramming all these appointments in and not even being in the building at times during visits then just accept that sometimes a few of them won't work out and eat the cost. Don't make me pay for your mistakes. Thank you.

Provided by YP.comI am not one to write reviews or put down any family business, but what i experienced at this dentist office was absolutely horrible and i feel that people should hear about this experience before going in.. I wish i had read reviews before going in there.
I have never felt so uncomfortable and disrespected at a dentist office in my life. I scheduled a second cleaning appointment here after waiting for over an hour the first time i came in for Dr.Tatla to tell me he did not have time for my cleaning today. So I scheduled a new appointment for 9:00 AM, the doctor came into the office 10 mins late and began yelling and arguing with his assistant about requesting time off. While he continued to argue, yell and put down his kind and caring assistant, i sat there listening, shaking my head and waiting for my teeth cleaning to start. 43 minuets later he came in and began my cleaning. I have had the same dentist for 19 years and always had regular check ups until i recently moved to Chico were i had to find a new dentist that accepted my insurance.
I dont know if it was just me but i have NEVER felt that much pain during a teeth cleaning, it hurt so bad i began to cry. I told him that it was really hurting me, his reply was that i have never been to the dentist before and that it would hurt.... Funny thing is i have been to the dentist, many times, he could clearly see that by the permanent retainer in my mouth and missing tooth that was recently extracted. But i really needed a teeth cleaning so i let him continue, until the pain worsened to the point i was really crying and could not handle the pain anymore. Crying, i asked him to stop, he threw his tools down and walked out. His assistant told me it would be okay, that he would finish up by just polishing my teeth. Still crying in pain, i asked the assistant why it hurt so bad, was it me? I had never felt such pain from a cleaning. Dr. Tatla stormed in and began to yell saying i was accusing him of not knowing how to do his job, that i can leave if i dont trust him. So i did. It was so incredibly disrespectful and rude, i was in shock. To leave a "Family pain free dentistry" bawling my eyes out because of the pain is unbelievable and for him to yell and disrespect a crying customer, have you heard of customer service Dr. Tatla?
I feel so bad for the awesome dental assistant and receptionist for having to work around such hostile person. Those two were so caring and nice to me and really want to thank them for acting like decent human being in the environment they are stuck in.
MediCAL patients that are looking for dentist that accept their coverage in this town, Western Dental is worth the wait compared to having to deal with this man.

Provided by YP.comDon't go to this dentist. He does shoddy work and when you try to get him to talk to about the problem he calls you a liar and tries to make you feel like your the problem.

Provided by YPmobileI had gone in to have a tooth extraction done. I was nervous as could be with me being frightened of going to the dentist. Lol. They were very friendly,especially one very cute dental assistant which was such a sweet man. He saw how uncomfortable and scared I was and grabbed my hand and held it the entire time;) He made me feel safe and I literally didn't even think about the pain anymore. I ended up giving him my number which I never do but if he doesn't call then he must be married or something. Lol.. Any how I think everyone there was awesome.

Provided by YPmobileDon't waste your time on this place receptionist sucks she NEVER returns your calls she don't know how to fill out the proper paperwork I've been waiting for year she's sent papers to the insurance company and still didn't fill it out right what a shame for the dentist but I'm not waiting around anymore I'm going to go somewhere else
