Dr. Rohit Dadi is a highly competent and caring podiatrist. I was lucky enough to see him at North State Foot and Ankle in Chico for my ingrown toenail.

After a harrowing bathroom surgery several weeks earlier, my toe had gotten slightly infected and swollen so that you could no longer access the offending piece of nail to remove it.

Dr. Dadi carefully explained to me how far gone it was and what my options were, and offered to fix the wound and remove the nail permanently (dematrix) right then and there, even though I wasn't supposed to come in if it was infected.. Awesome!

I have had bad ingrown nails twice before, once no big deal, the other time involving a complete numbing of the toe before they excise it. The initial needle is traumatic, I have a high pain tolerance and I feared having to do it again. What was so cool was how he handled it.

He asked me if I was ready to numb it before going to the surgical room, then sat down in front of me facing away. He propped my foot up on his leg and out of sight, one hand ready with the needle and the other holding some liquid nitrogen he never told me about. He then froze my toe, completely numbing it superficially, before calmly injecting every part like a boss, all the while apologizing for the discomfort. Luxury.

This is next level patient care. He and an assistant then carried out the procedure smoothly and were professional and kind throughout. I sometimes have a hard time with this stuff and they were very accommodating. The office also helped me to schedule my next appointment around work, and I was able to get in, because they had notified me of an open spot the same day I called.

Two weeks later, my checkup is great. No infection, wound healing wonderfully, proper follow up and a very happy patient. I appreciate meeting high-level doctors who genuinely care about their patient's outcome and treat them like real people. If you're in need of a podiatrist I would definitely recommend Dr. Dadi.
