All of these 4 star reviews have to be fake.

Sheraton Real Estate is a terrible company. They will keep every penny of your deposit and even charge you more money when they send you a bill for bogus and bloated charges.

They tried to charge us $2,000 for repainting the house. Looking into the California Renters Rights when you live at a place for over 2 years they aren't allowed to charge you anything for the repainting of the house. They ended up removing this charge after we copied and pasted the law, but I assume they try and get everyone to pay it.

Beware this company is going to try and steal your money.

Absolutely Terrible. I rented a townhouse off of Manzanita for a year from them. Things were bad from day 1. We waited for about an hour on our move in day for someone to show up to move us in, my room mate had to drive to the office to get someone, who was not the person it was supposed to be. When she finally let us in, the carpets already looked horrible, and it obviously had not been cleaned or painted since the last residents had been evicted (the eviction notice was still on the door when we got there.) The lady took pictures and wrote down all of the things that were wrong and apologized multiple times.

Within the first week of being there, the light fixture above the kitchen started leaking water, seeing it as a safety issue, we called Sheraton, they blamed us and never sent anyone out to fix it. The garbage disposal broke multiple times and my boyfriend had to fix it because they never sent anyone out after multiple calls to them each time. When our lease was finally up, I waited for almost an hour for my property manager Kellie, to show up and she never did. I left a note on the door telling her to call me to reschedule, she called and said she had just forgot about it and she'd reschedule it. She never did.

I finally received the deposit notice in the mail, they tried to charge me almost $3,000 dollars plus the deposit for almost all the things that had been "written down and photographed" the first day we moved in. I would never rent from them again. They're nothing but liars and scammers. If you want to save your time, frustration and money, rent from someone else.

worst landlords ever

Sheraton real estate is the worst I have ever rented from. When we moved in the dish washer didn't work, it wasn't until weeks if not months later someone came to fix it. Our heater was broken as well. After calling multiple times finally, 6 months later they fixed the heater, winter is over now. Thanks for letting us freeze. The wall behind the fridge leaked water and ruined the floor, so I saw a worker walking by one day and asked him to check it out. He(not the management) informed us that this appt was flooded completely up and downstairs with $22,000 of damage. There has been a musty moldy smell since day one of living here and they have done nothing about it. Sheraton does not even deserve a single star, but I have too in order to post a review. I will never rent from them again. Piece of sh*t slumlords that's for sure.

Sheraton at a glance...

If you would have asked me a year ago how I felt about Sheraton, I would have given you an earful. My husband and I had to abruptly relocate to Connecticut, for a job position he accepted. I needed to get my house rented in a jiffy and it seemed like the only person that cared about this fact, was me. What I forgot was, I was extremely stressed, and Sheraton DOES have a ton of other owners. Once, I set all of that aside, I was able to find out that Sheradon has been really great to my tenants. Even though I was not very nice to my property manager. Cher Sundae (sorry if I spelt it wrong Cher!) is wonderful. I would reccommend not only Sheraton, but her to anyone that asks me. I am 3000 miles away and I can rest assured that my house is looked after and my tenants are happy. Also, when I am in a pinch, Cher has been more than helpful about sending out my rent check early. I cannot say enough good things about Sheradon, from the front office staff to the maintenence crew, I am very happy I've found Sheraton. I wouldn't entrust anyone else with my home, especially in a college town like Chico! If you're in the market for someone to take care of your property for you, or you're just out to find a good rental, check Sheraton first.

Avoid Sheraton

Do not go with sheraton. They are negligent and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. I had a leaky roof that took them three months to fix and when it finally was they refused to pay for the damage it caused. My property manager ignored and would not return my calls at all. It took me a week to even get in contact with her.

Save yourself frustration and poor service. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM
