Staff is knowledgeable, competent, and helpful beyond what is expected. Each employees knows his or her job, and is ready to "get to work." The gin component parts are kept updated and in "shipshape" working order. Office and surroundings are clean, tidy and neat. Readily obvious is why up to third and fourth generations of cotton producers have chosen Childress' Farmers Co-operative Gin during the fall and early winter harvest each year. Members are treated exactly in that manner--as members, rather than as "customers" or "clients." Travelers on US83, going north (into Childress) or south surely are impressed with the visible-for-miles blue and white Texas "flag" painted onto the slanted roof on the grounds of Farmers' Co-operative Gin.
