Provided by YP.comThis place is a joke. If I could rate them a negative star, it would happen.
These owners are absolutely unstable. We drove through a few months back and noticed a "visitors check in" sign at the front. No on was present. We drove through, maybe fifteen minutes at the most, and proceeded to leave.
The gates were locked. Waiting on the side, I assume were the owners. They had locked us inside.
With very crude and vulgar language, they threatened to keep us "locked inside" due to us not following their rules of checking in. We tried to explain our apologies, however, they had already called us every name in the book while using threatening language.
I had my phone ready to call the police.
I will ABSOLUTELY never recommend this place to anyone. If they think that is okay to speak to potential campers like that, there is in no way I will be taking business with them ever in my life time!
I had never been talked to like that before in my entire life. I do realize that we had not checked in at the visitors area, but no one was present. That is our bad, but to lock the gates while we are still inside and threaten us and tell us "well, looks like you're stuck here" is completely uncalled for.
I will NEVER in my entire life recommend this awful "business" to even the worst of my enemies.
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL BUSINESS.

Provided by YP.comJust called them to see what they charged to use their dump station if not a guest...First person I spoke with did not even know if they had a dump station, the second person told me the price was $15.00 Most everyone else I have price checked say 5 to 10 dollars, pays to know before you get there. I will drive a few more miles and dump for free at a rest stop.

Provided by YPmobileCalled staff to ask if we could use campsite for evening. They were very rude with us on the phone. They assumed we should have known that if the water wasn't turned on they weren't excepting reservations.I dont always go with reviews because there are always two sides to a story but this place is definitely starting a trend with their staff courtesy. Maybe it was a good thing we weren't able to stay.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I recently spent the weekend at this privately owned campground and our experience was horrible. The facility was well kept, however the members were extremely rude and over the course of two days, multiple members actually raised their voices and screamed at us for the smallest things. The staff was not very welcoming of our business either. We kept our campsite neat and left absolutely NO mess when we left. We were never loud and for the most part, kept to ourselves all weekend. My family visits several campgrounds each summer as we travel each weekend and this by far was the most unwelcoming, rude, obnoxious place we have ever stayed. We will NEVER be returning, and will NEVER recommend this to our RV club members.
We are sorry, you feel this way. Members have to follow rules and when they see someone else break rules they usually respond. Sometimes not to tactful. Our speed limit is 7&1/2 mph. This sort of upsets some visitors. Some think it is a joke. Well it is not. Most campgrounds have a 5 mph speed limit. Our campground it so large it takes quiet some time to get somewhere going the speed limit. Most do not realize how fast they are going. Every once in a while guests have to be reminded. Most do not like to admit that they may have been driving a little to fast. We tell our members if they have a concern about safety, please, do not take it upon them selves to correct a problem. We the managers cannot be everywhere at once. Our rules are in place to protect all campers whether they are Members or over night guests. We also charge for visitors and that upsets people because they think they can have a family reunion for 50 people and let them stay, fish, swim & shower on one nights stay, priced for two adults and two children. Glass bottles & pets at our beach are also an issue at our campground. Members can't do it so the public cannot do it either. This is a state law not something that we just made up. We have signs posted all over our campground and most problems are because the signs are not obeyed. Our Members are very proud of their campground. They help maintain it, also. Again I'm sorry you thought it was rude of them to correct a problem. They should of went to the manager so they could of reveiwed what acually happened and corrected the problem.
