I had a 350 rebuilt. Plug #6 is dripping with oil. Smoke cloud on start up from driver side. Paid 200 extra to have oil pan,valve cover, and intake installed. I was charged tax twice on the first $600 I paid when i dropped the engine off. I was told that the same engine goes in a 7000lbs work van as a 2000lbs car. I told Paul poteat that I needed something special and to spare no expense. Instead I gave him $1320 for a leaky, smokey, engine that has less power than the one I brought him. The truth will come out when I, in the words of Paul poteat, "take it apart and read it like a comic book "

I purchased 5.8 crate motor for an F250 my (reputable) mechanic put it in for us then it started overheating immediately so he looks at it &finds the HEAD GASKET is on backwards. So we call Paul & he says crate it & ship it back at OUR expense & we'll see who was to blame! Well it bacame a blame game instantly then proceeded to tell me to keep the receipt for warranty, this engine was used for work if I took it out & sent it back I cannot work well he could care less about that now the engine is blown & we're out $2000 plus the cost of a rebuild or new engine & YES it was their fault. I am on a mission to make sure this does not happen to anyone else, I'll be leaving reviews everywhere I can!! Who runs a business like this I mean the whole time I was there Buying the engine he was extremely nice don't be fooled as soon as he gets your money he could care less about you or your family, in today's market money is hard to come by don't give it away for nothing at Kannappolis Engines!!
