The Wisconsin Sheriffs and Deputy Sheriffs Association has been serving law enforcement and the public for over 65 years! Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to raising the level of professionalism among those in the criminal justice field. Our purpose is to promote the public's welfare through the cooperation of Wisconsin Sheriffs, deputy sheriffs and jail officers, and the performance of their duties. Approximately 2, 000 members enjoy the services and fellowship the association provides. The WSDSA provides a summer and winter training conference, for a very minimal cost, to its members. A written essay contest for Wisconsin eighth-grade students. Best essays are awarded a cash prize, and students are acknowledged in the association's magazine.
