Choctaw High School provides a variety of academic programs and extracurricular activities for students in grades 9 through 12. The school has business, mathematics, social studies, special education, and language and fine arts departments. Its science department s curriculum includes biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, botany and zoology. Choctaw High School offers various sports activities, such as football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball and softball. It also provides classes in several foreign languages, such as German and Spanish. The school has a library and media center that provides textbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias and Web access. It organizes parent-teacher conferences and counseling sessions for students. Located in Choctaw, Okla., Choctaw High School is a part of Choctaw-Nicoma Park Schools.
