Sara began HER journey in HER healthcare education in 2002. SHE then attended the university of Oklahoma. Graduating with a bachelor of science in nursing in 2006. SHE relocated to Midland. Texas where HER and HER husband lived for 5 years. This time period in HER career LED HER to more opportunities than SHE HAD ever imagined. SHE worked AS a registered nurse in the labor and delivery unit. SHE Also worked in an OBSTETRICS/GYNECOLOGY office where SHE gained valuable experience including surgical nurse for gynecology procedures. While living in Texas. SHE returned to school and received HER master of science in nursing with a focus on leadership and management. Sara then furthered HER education AT Texas tech university in which SHE received HER nurse practitioner certification with a specialty in Family. SHE has spent HER nursing career thus FAR working in various healthcare settings with the passion to positively affect the lives of women and their families. In 2011. Sara and HER Family moved back to Oklahoma and settled into the Choctaw community where SHE and HER husband established a comforting environment for their 2 sons. SHE continued HER nurse practitioner role in an OBSTETRICAL/GYNECOLOGY practice providing comprehensive health care to women throughout the lifespan. Including reproductive and gynecologic health needs. AS well AS. Well woman care. Prenatal and postpartum care. Contraceptive management. Menopause. And ACUTE/CHRONIC illnesses. In caring for women. Sara has become more and more mindful of HOW the women of today stay busy and lead a complex life. They are Family focused. Strive hard to Balance work. And often limit time for themselves. While they MAY BE the healthcare drivers for their Family members. Their OWN wellness MAY AT times take a back seat. Choctaw Women’s clinic is focused on creating an exceptional experience for women that keeps them seeking more OUT of healthcare than ever before.
