Buyers beware more than usual. They've recently changed the business name to Shamrock Auto Sales (with the emphasis on SHAM!) and the owner/salesperson is now married to the drug dealer who used to run Dixie. Same lot, same players, same cars that don't run. You'd be much better off walking....trust me!

By far the worst business transactions I have ever experienced. The vehicles are complete junk...serviced/rigged to run a few miles before major issues. Bought an SUV from them..we were in need for a quick buy. Within a week it overheated, wheel bearing locked up around 55 mph which could have killed my wife. Numerous other issues...we are almost certain the odometer was turned back 100,000 miles. Dixie would not tell us who inspected the vehicle because after my own inspection there is no way it would have passed. Holes in mufflers taped..wired together with fence wire!! The worst is yet to come..we were going to cvs one day and a vehicle was tailgating us violently and proceeded to pull a cop stunt and cut us off in the parking lot immediately yelling and cussing stating we were late on our payment and that they were repossessing our vehicle. We argued for 10 min before giving up the keys to the two nutcase, wastes of oxygen employees leaving us stranded 10 miles from home. We then went back the next day..payed payment and left. About 1 month later we were inside Dollar General and the same little pip squeak employee who is about 5 foot NOTHING and 175 pounds said something rude to my wife loudly...i came into the convo very quickly and if it weren't for Virginia's strict domestic violence policies I would have knocked his few teeth down his throat..im 6'5..240 pounds and have a hot trigger temper for people dis respecting my wife or my kids. He said in the conversation that he was going to follow us as we left DG but after the verbal dispute he wised up a bit..fairly certain he knew his night would end badly if he said another word too us. The most unprofessional...useless...dishonest..non educated people I have ever had to deal with. It is my fault for going there in the first place, every review on the internet explains nothing but negativity. TRAILER PARK TRASH!!! CAR LOT IS ATTACHED TO THERE TRAILER/HOME WHERE THEY CONDUCT THERE BUSINESS!!RUN FROM DIXIE!!!!

Biggest con artist in the area. A guy named David Smith is the behind the scenes owner and his dealership on Roanoke St near Wades was closed due to legal practices. Well now is open again but in his wife's/girlfriends name "Carolyn" and they are back to the same stuff. My son without my knowledge traded his car with them and he drove the car for less than an hour and parts to the transmission literally feel out leaving him without a vehicle. They did say they will put him in another one of the same vehicles they have but they are having to jump start every car so he can check it out????? They will not give back his original trade in even though it was just yesterday and say that is not a law for them to have to do that. So regardless it's shady practice.
