Provided by YP.comAlpine has serviced and helped me with our puppy for the last 18 months. They go above and beyond in everything they do. I have difficulty walking and Monday I went in to have my dogs nails trimmed and the employee Shannon, went way out of her way to help me walk my dog to the car and made me feel very comfortable even though my dog was acting her age!! I would totally recommend Alpine to any animal owner. Thank you guys for such great service with appreciate it . Paul and Dorothy Guisande

Provided by YP.comI moved from Pocatello in 2001 and continue to bring my dog there to see Dr. Carlson. She is amazing, so professional, a wealth of information and my dog(s) love her.

Provided by YP.comI was very happy with the doctor's treatment of my nervous kitty. The staff up front was great, too. We're definitely going back next time we need a vet visit.

Provided by YP.comI love the staff, location and their new building. When I have had an emergency they have always placed me as having an appointment to avoid the emergency fees whenever possible. I have always taken my animals to be spayed or neutered through the pet adoption program and have never been over charged or have any surprise fees. If my pet was pregnant or in heat they would notify me to see if I wanted them to proceed and that it would be a bit extra since there would be some extra surgical items to complete other then the basic. They are so good to send out sympathy cards when one of our pets have passed away.

Just wanted to be more specific as not all employees at this hospital are bad. The office mngr Michaela as well as front desk staff are absolutely wonderful as is Sara. I cannot speak for other vets but as for Dr. Hemenway, I know 1st hand of her "Oh well I killed your dog, so what?..."attitude. She doesn't care that her vet assistant was the same way either. They killed but baby who was very much active and alive, by strongholding him and putting him into cardiac arrest then not being able to revive him and stating things like Oh well, your dog is dead, I don't know what you want from me!... BEWARE!!! It has been 6 days since they murdered my baby and was scheduled to talk with DrHemenway to which she still held her could not care less attitude about her brutality to my 12 LB baby that forced his death at hers & her vet assistant's hands. Big Time ruthless human being...full on no compassion for owner or the pets.

WarningDoNotGoHere! They murdered my pomeranian! My dog was happy walking eating drinking and doing fine until they whisked him as I told them I need to hold him through the blood work but they brutally forced him into a barhold giving him cardiac arrest to which they failed to put oxygen tube in so killed him within minutes!!!Unapologetic & billed for "1st hour of oxygen. " They spent a total of 5 minutes like murdering a rustling my baby! Then charged $72.00 Leaving me tormented for life!!! The vet assistant, told me they would put a muzzle on my dog if he tried to bite! I told her they couldn't do that I need to be the 1 to hold him! They murdered him for nothing! They are NOT the compassionate caring ppl they claim to be on thier website & for all the "experience" where is the compassion? When is ity ok to take an innocent by force & traumatize to death as well as traumatize the family?! Then even to state they do not have the right stuff for a dog like mine after they killed him! While hand pumping him...I'm beyond my wits about this . I'm so very broken hearted to lose the love of my life, my baby, my companion my sweetheart my buddy my world...They've crushed me completely , he was my baby & I trusted they had all the means to perform senior health, surgery, if need be, care & compassion as was advertised by thier own site. My baby was placed in front of me in mid cardiac arrest thanks to them & again the assistant tried to whisk him away so I yelled for her to give my baby back & took him from her . There was nothing caring or gentle about this!! I would not want anyone else to face this wit thier loved one(s).1 assistant came in & notified them they failed to put the oxygen in properly so they were doing no good so they pulled the tubes so all the while my baby was being brutalized at the hands of strangers & I will be forever tortured by the thought that I took hm in there thinking they would help my baby get through some tough times & live a few more years, even if we needed a surgery. If you know an animal is older and weak in the heart you should be forceful, brutal & binding RIGHT? Well that is what happened to my baby.A day later I found out some other ppl lost their pets at that same place ...pets they were suppose to spay/neuter but killed them because of wrong medications amounts!Do Not Go There unless you want your baby put down or chance it.

Provided by YP.comChubbuck area. I was not very impressed with them. I recently brought my dog in to get spayed. The people at the front desk seemed to genuinely care (hence, the 2 stars), but the vet we got...well, lets just say that everything she could charge us for, she tried. Anywhere from extra pills to take home for pain ($20 for 2 pills?) to "your dog needs her teeth cleaned and will cost $250!...do you want me to do that now?" She even tried to add deworming to the bill; something I can easily do myself! I've gone there before with our cat and loved them...not anymore.

We have been a client of Alpine for over 30 years. Alpine has treated everything from horses, cattle, goats, sheep, cats and dogs for us during this timeframe. We have boarded both cats and dogs with complete confidence and ease of mind. Not only is the staff friendly, but the professionals are exceptional veterinarians who care for their patients and the owners of their patients. I would recommend Alpine without reservation.
