I love Shorty's Restaurant!!! I go there every week. But the reason I am rating it so low is due to the owner's wife. She is a white haired lady and she is the rudest person I have ever come in contact with at a restaurant. I was in there the other day, and just so you know they know my order by heart as soon as I walk in the door, so I did not get a ticket. I was going to check out and she asked the waitress where my ticket was and I did not have one, well because I did not think I needed one and they did not write it down because they knew it already. Well she touches my arm (which made me mad) and then rudely tells me that the next time I come in I need to speak with the waitress and get a ticket before I just get my food made. Then walks off. And dont get me wrong. If she would have said this in a nice way I would not have had a problem, but rudeness is something I can not stand. Especially when you are the owners wife and I am an innocent customer supporting your store. And when a store is really based on people feeling at home and building a strong relationship with the people that come there to eat, treating them like that is not a good way to get more business. And she has also been seen countless times outside the store arguing with another lady (cussing and yelling) and that is just very inappropriate!! Especially when you are the owners. So for these reasons, I do still plan to support the store, but when she is there I do plan to walk right back out. The owners before them were AMAZING!!!! And I really wish for the sake of the restaurant and the staff, that they did still own it.
