I had the worst wedding memory EVER!!!! I have a huge list of reasons why you should never consider this place for your wedding! This place was such a scam and ruined what should have been the greatest memory of mine and my fiance's life. And yes i said Fiance because upon filing for our wedding certificate at San Francisco City Hall, we were informed the "Captain" (whom is the actual owner of the boat), turned out to be wanted for fraud! So our wedding was not only the worst day ever, it was a joke! So my fiance and I have to plan another wedding. Lisa Scopazzi (The Captains Wife/Owner) which is the person i dealt with the entire year prior to our "Big Day" seemed to be extremely pleasant and helpful the first 2 months prior to me giving her my first payment. As the time got closer she was extremely hard to get a hold of. Lied about saying she was calling back, never answering emails, etc. Well to my surprise 10 days before we flew out to California for our wedding, she called for the final payment. I was defintiely surprised to hear from her since i had been trying so hard to get so many questions answered with no response back.. When we arrived in California 4 days before the wedding to meet her, she informed me that she was not able to attend and coordinate the wedding as planned. She also informed me that i could not have the wine i ordered because her "Liquor Man" did not have time to get it.

COme the day of the wedding, the boat was a mess!!!! My bridal party got there to decorate early and there were no tables, linens or chair covers as promised and paid for. We spent so much time and money preparing our own flower arrangements and centerpieces for them to go to waste!!! When it came time for dinner, there was no where to sit and people were eating in their laps. Can you imagine being in formal wear eating on the floor??? I was so embarassed!!!!! The captain was extremely dirty and sounded as if he had been drunk all day! No one was informed when the ceremony was taking place, people were just walking out clueless! The "Captain, read vows so quickly from a dirty sheet of paper! The boat was rocking so hard it leaned so far over.... We thought we were going overboard for sure. We were informed if the location we wanted to exchange vows, was not a good location, then we would dock somewhere else. I had to take off my shoes off to get a good grip to the floor and hold on to the rail while repeating something (vows) i can't even remember. (It was definitely not a great memory) There was not enough food, I, myself, the bride was bussing tables because the "Staff" was not doing their job! There was no where to stand because chairs were thrown all over the front of he boat. We missed out on speeches, dancing, and toasting because our ride was cut short. We were told that we would get more time because they had an hour late start, but we did not get that extra hour we paid for. This wedding took a toll on my health and relationship for sure. I was so depressed and heartbroken that i did not want to even look at the pictures of the wedding party getting ready in the morning. I strongly urge you to not go thru the same thing we did. This company is such a scam and i hope this message reaches so many people considering this place. I have so much more i can say but i think what i listed should be enough. AFter a couple days of crying i was finally able to call Lisa Scopazzi to explain to her the dreadful memory they gave me, and she did not seem sympathetic or apologetic at all. SHe said she would talk to her staff and call me back to help me out some way, but once again... She NEVER called me back!!!! They keep moving cities because they scam you by collecting payment over the phone by bank account routing numbers or bank card information to later steal more money out of your accounts!!! Beware of these Scammers!
