First impression: confusion on where to park, where to enter, where the office is located; once inside the building we were greeted by a smiling friendly man who introduced himself as the Vice Principal. Explained we were there to transfer a student, he took us to the office; introduced us to other faculty in there (including the principal who barely looked up) & gave me the necessary paperwork. Day 2: took completed paperwork back, was told that the prior TN school hadn't done the shot records correctly & this was now my issue to fix, that my child couldn't stay or come back until it was done. Fine except it required records from another state, etc so it was going to take a minute to fix. Long story short I handled the issue & received assurances from the people involved on the other end that they would be faxing the requirements to the school that day; next day I went ahead & sent my child to school with the assumption that she was "in the clear". Lo & behold she wasn't because they hadn't received the faxes yet so the school called the emergency numbers I'd listed on the paperwork & told those people that my child needed to be picked up (okay, fine) & they were calling the Sheriff's department (wait a minute--what?); so I frantically went down there & the reception I received was chilly, to say the least. No one attempted to be friendly, no one attempted to find out details....they just glared. My child was sitting in the office on the verge of tears, i told her (loudly) that it wasn't a big deal & she'd be back Monday. I know this review is lengthy with personal details, I tried to be as brief as possible. The point is the first day they were friendly as could be but then the second day a little issue sprung up & it's like they closed ranks & instead of trying to be helpful they shut us out, a "your problem not mine" mentality & I just flat out didn't appreciate it.
