Although it takes me about 30 mins from Kentucky to get here, it's worth it. I'd recommend this place to first timers or people getting their 20th tattoo. I've visited other parlors, and the people have been rude and the prices too high. I've gotten all my tattoos here and they've always been friendly, professional and give reasonable pricing. Also, it's always clean and they play some good music. :)

I'm an architect and graphic designer, so I was really into designing my own tattoo for this one. Nick was great about using my design, even improved it with his subtle shading and fantastic line work. Lines are smooth and dark, - but not too thick and the fills are clear and vivid; the positioning was perfect. I can certainly say that the finish product exceeded my expectations.



On a different note, the shop is WAY beyond what anyone would expect. I chose the Flying Tiger based upon the portfolios posted online, but went a day ahead to check them out, see the place, check the price for the tat I had in mind and schedule the appointment. Located in Pleasant Ridge, it was very convenient for me. When I walked in, though, I was surprised! the place was not just professional, but very tastefully decorated....nice floors, oriental rugs, etc. The whole place is classy and professional...and the price seemed just right.



Overall, I was very happy about the whole experience.

Definitely would recommend to anyone - tattoo fanatic OR newbie.
