Provided by YP.comIf you are looking for an upscale place to go for a good time in Cincinnati on a Saturday Night, do not go to BlackFinn!
A few of my friends and I pulled up in a 2008 Cadillac Escalade. Very professionally dressed, and out to have a good time. The General Manager (Kirk Shaffer) had an attitude with me because I had on a Derby (upscale) hat. Although, he let 5 of my friends in, he told me I had to take my hat off. I went and put it in the car, (which was valet parked right in front), and came back with my group. He then told me, I was to go to the back of the line, in pouring rain! I went to the back of the line, (while my group went inside). After 15 minutes in line, he (Kirk Shaffer) said I wasn't welcome due to my attitude (I asked for his card). I was left to go to Jeff Ruby's a more established upscale restaurant down the street, while my friends partied inside. Needless to say, my group said there was a gentlemen with a turbin, cowboy hat and baseball cap inside. I will never go to BlackFinn again, and I suggest that you don't either. By the way, the bouncer threatened me, because I wanted more of explanation besides my attitude. Keep in mind, I wasn't drinking, there was no real incident besides their poor treatment of me and my embarrassment. Don't go to BlackFinn, if you want great service, and you are dressed professionally. Kirk Shaffer, in my opinion will not be there long, treating good patrons like he treated me. I may consider going back or recommending BlackFinn, once he is terminated.
