Provided by YP.comWe have been shopping at D Raphael since 1992. We have enjoyed the gorgeous, exotic and unusual items of jewelry that David so carefully and selectively procures and provides for his wonderful boutique. It's so charming to be greeted by his adorable bird. If you are looking for a beautifully crafted and eclectic piece, this is the shop for you. You will not be disappointed. Please don't change the boutique or ever leave Ludlow! David is a wonderful host, with a wealth of knowledge about the jewelry in his shop. Please Support our local proprietors!

Provided by YPmobileMr Rafael is pleasent, witty, and knowledgeable of the unique tasteful product he sells. In a business where patience is more and more a quality left to be desired in a shop keeper. Dave is as acomadating as an old friend... I'm looking forward to visiting that "New friend" often 'cause you'll never know what's new there if you don't check back frequently.

Provided by YP.comI went into D Raphael’s on 8/1/2013 for the purpose of getting my finger sized for my wedding ring. The owner came out and “pretended” to measure my finger with a tape measure and then joked about cutting it off in the back of the store with a table saw. His mood changed immediately after he pretended to measure my finger and he then told me that if I wanted a sizing it would be $10 and then I could go ahead and “get my ring on eBay or whatever.” Look, $10 to support local business, I would be okay with that, but the owner was really, very rude to me. I tried to walk out and he stopped me and went on and on about how he hates customers like me and his rent is very expensive. I told him that the ring was probably going to be an old family heirloom from India that I would not wear every day. He told me that “he didn't realize that I already had the ring.” He then tried to give me a jeweler rec and told me that, "these people won't steal jewels out of the ring." I am really shocked and appalled at the experience I had at this business and do not want anyone else who is excited about their wedding or any other occasion, going through the same thing. In addition to my experience, the reviews online for this place are terrible.
There is also the issue of the cleanliness of the place, my first impression was that the store was very dirty and a smelled of feces. And I realized that was due to the very large parrot that sits next to the register.
