I am befuddled by the previous "five star" rating. I had my first (and last!) office visit with this Doctor. I have seen people treat their pets better than the treatment she gave me. She did not smile or greet me when she walked in. I had a few concerns, but she would not listen, and only wanted to address one. She had no warmth, compassion, empathy, or bedside manner. She barely spent five minutes with me..barely said anything and abruptly left. I felt confused. A nurse came in, told me to just take my pants to me knees and kneel and put my head on a pillow. It was very awkward. Doctor came back in, have me rectal/digital exam. Said "you have folds, there is nothing I can do for you". She did not bother to give me any hope. I have been suffering with this, and was down to my last option hope. She did not offer me any kind of hope, or referral, other surgeon who could help..nothing. She was rude, curt, and when I then told her about severe lower abdominal cramping, she just prescribed a medication similar to one I am currently taking. She offered nothing about the mefication, or that the medication has a Benzodiazepine in it. Just said to "take it 4 times a day" and walked out. I left in tears..felt degraded and humiliated. I doubt I will even pay the bill I am so upset right now. I don't know how she treats patients the way she does and stays in business. I'm not paying a bill. She did nothing for me, except leave me feeling awful, with little hope. Do your self a favor, save your money, and look for a more empathetic colon and rectal surgeon. I am saddened my Gastroenterologist referred me to her. She does not care. She could have at least have referred me or done something. Very rude lady.

If you are suffering from Hemorroid, do not waste your time with any other doctor. She is veryu good and she can treat by rubber band theraphy. It is quick porcess and bleeding will stop right way.
