I have taken a variety of shoe and boot problems, from Birkenstocks to riding boots to historical handmade brogans, to Krondilou's downtown for more than 20 years. They have always helped me, including telling me my shoes were beyond hope, and often came up with unusual repairs that kept my footware usable. They are a genuine old time professional shop that offers quality work at fair prices.

If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. I live downtown and was very excited about the possibility of having a reliable shoe place that I could use.



When I went in today, the owner of the store was HORRIBLE to me. He acted like he was doing me a favor for fixing my shoes--he was very condescending and rude. Then, he refused to tell me a time that my shoes would be ready. When I pressed him on a date--telling him that I was going out of town and asking if they would be ready by next week--he literally grabbed my shoes off the counter, pushed them at me and told me to leave! I've never been treated so badly.



Please don't waste your time with this place.
