I had a bad Consigning experience with them during COVID closedown. Took items in for consignment 10 days before shut down and They were closed for 84 days ,to have them take all proceeds from sold items (even though they promised me a 90 day extension when they re-opened,approved and signed by manager).Because I did not pick up My items up when the Original 60 day contract ended . they were closed and There was no way to contact them by phone ,all i got was a recording ! they considered my things donated at that point ,they still sold the items and kept all money from transaction! They told me I had no rights to the money they got from the sale again because I didn’t pick the items up after the 60 day contract was up Even though they gave me an extension which they did not honor! I feel like I was taken advantage of during COVID close down which was not my fault and I lost my 50% of the proceeds from the sale! I would never recommend Anyone to consign with them and I will Never walk in their door again except to get the money that is owed to me ! I contacted the Better Business Bureau and may take them to small claims court also

I am totally dismayed and disappointed at my recent consignment, after having bought and sold with Legscies for years in the past. I consigned a lovely butternut maple chest that has built in desk with pigeonholes and drawers. It also HAD a matching hoop back chair of same wood. I stopped in legacies during their Christmas in July sale, and noticed the chest sitting in a walkway, with lots of Christmas items displayed in and on it. I failed to notice where the chair was located, and assumed had been displayed closeby. I was quite. shocked to receive a check the first week in August, with notation for wooden chair which had sold for $30, netting me $15. I tried to think of another chair I had taken to them,then realized they had sold the chair that matched the chest/secretary. How sad they broke up a set, selling off one piece! I and will not make assumptions again.....Legacies used to have great management and oversite in the past. I will not be using them again in the future.

Simply the best consignment shop around. I consigned tons of stuff here and was astonished by the timely checks, the amount of the checks and if you are a 2nd hand shopper...this place is stunning in it's showroom quality merchandise. You could wander around here all day just taking in the great stuff they have. It is a worthy place to donate also; as all proceeds go to cancer related things such as research and helping families out with cancer. Very nice staff and you can find anything from vintage jewelery to beautiful artwork...linens, furniture, antiques, modern art, you name it..they got it!
