Madison Place Fire Station 66, a part of the Little Miami Joint Fire & Rescue District, is located in Cincinnati. It provides a variety of emergency medical service and rescue services, including auto extrication, low angle rope rescue and shoring of buildings. It also provides advanced life support through paramedic equipped ambulances, known as Medic Units. It conducts routine fire prevention inspections of all the industries, businesses, schools, parks, rooming houses and community-based residential facilities. It also conducts plans review for planning commission items, including building permits, sprinkler systems, automatic and manual fire alarm systems, automatic non-water-based fire suppression systems, and tank installations and removals. The department also provides other services, such as overseeing the inspection of multifamily dwellings, conducting follow-up inspections, and reviewing various fire prevention education programs.
