Main Auction Galleries Inc is the oldest Auction House west of the Alleghenies. Our firm started in the 1800's. The Karp family purchased the gallery in 1870. My son Jonas is now the 5th generation. We have become one of the largest auction houses in the State of Ohio. Our firm has endured because of our honesty, integrity and loyalty between our consigners, buyers and our customers. We have set numerous World auction records over the past years. We do extensive advertising in all major Antique Publications, and the Cincinnati Enquirer. We publish a pictorial colored brochure for our catalog auctions. We conduct weekly auctions as well as specialty and major catalogue actions.
