Department of Family Medicine is a primary care specialty unit operated by the University of Cincinnati. The department offers a required third-year clerkship for medical students in all four years of training. The clerkship includes training in evidence-based medicine, information technology, health disparities, cultural competence, and the care of low-income elderly patients.
