It's really sad when a business tells you that the delivery service they use, "sucks." Yes, he said "sucks." He highly recommended that I spend the $200, because if anything was broken, it was covered if their service made the delivery. It would not be covered if I picked it up myself. More about delivery in a moment.



Mind you the salesman was really nice and seemed to have a LOT of experience. He was friendly and helpful with suggestions when my wife and daughter couldn't agree on some ideas. That was what the ONE STAR is for.



Our contractor came with us when we were ready to place the order. It was discussed and requested that our wall tile be from the SAME LOT BATCH. The salesman heartily agreed with that.



My wife gave the date we needed delivery and we were contacted that we had a time frame for the afternoon. My wife had to change her work schedule to take the time off for this. The time came and went with no call they would be there in 30 minutes. No one answered the services phone number. Calls to The Tile Shop garnered not much more help. We got another phone number and the lady apologized and said it'd be out the next day. No stars for that and you should understand it wasn't delivered again.



Now, I'm out of the state helping a family member with some health problems. I'm having to call and get involved. The lady I spoke with said she was in the hospital trying to recover from Pneumonia! She promised it would be out on Saturday and needed my wife to be available. I agreed that would be fine.



Again no one showed up. I called back and a lady answered who said she was the other woman's mother and a nurse was tending to her daughter. She said to call back in 15 minutes. When I did, the lady was wheezing and sounded poor. She again apologized and said someone had quit and they were having troubles. She promised it would be delivered on Sunday.



We got TWO pallets of stuff. It ended up missing a whole pallet and most of the tile wasn't there. What we did get, wasn't quite correct. All the boxes of wall tile for the small bathroom were from 6 different lot batches!



That is just bad on The Tile Shop. They gave a crappy delivery service a poorly picked out incomplete batch of product.



If you choose to do business with these guys, please beware. Something bad is going on there.
