I visited Ute's recently upon appointment to design a necklace for my upcoming wedding day to match my strapless dress. I was appalled by how Ute herself treated me. I'd like to note her employee/associate was very polite.

I told Ute I didn't wear much jewelry and didn't have an exact idea of what I wanted. She got easily frustrated with my lack of taste and knowledge. I asked her to just show me/design me something she thought would go nice with the dress and showed her pictures. I was her blank slate; any designer's dream. Ute said she didn't want to do that at all. She brushed my questions off and acted like they were all dumb.

The worst part was when my fiancé, who accompanied me, saw her making faces at her employee behind my back. She would roll her eyes when she thought I wasn't looking and make annoyed faces. This doesn't surprise me given Ute's constant rude tone towards with me. Please note I am a young bride, and I believe this is why Ute treated me with such disrespect. She is apparently use to an older, richer crowd. The fact she knew my mother did not matter.

I left embarrassed, red-faced and confused at what I had done to deserve such treatment. Please don't be a patron to such a horrible human being. Why should anyone treat others that way?
