Provided by YP.comThe staff and Veterinarians at San Juan are caring, kind, and truly look after the animals and their human families. We have been patients for over 20 years and highly recommend them. They do not perform unnecessary treatments and take all the time needed for each family!

Provided by YP.comA neighbor took their dog (A) here after an incident with another neighbor's dog(B). Dog A was not injured in any way in the course of events, but the uber hysterical owner took the dog into this vet anyway and came with a VISA receipt for $318.50. As a witness to the whole event and mediator on this matter, I am appalled at the outrageous charges. This vet charged for three types of pain medication, an x-ray, two kinds of antibiotics, $120. for an "Emergency office visit" in the middle of the afternoon, half day of "hospitalization" even tho the dog was there not left, "Capstar" flea control, and charged $8. for a pill pocket. All these for an uninjured dog with an irrational and kooky owner. Now, the owner of Dog A wants the owner of dog B to reimburse her for the vet bill. I actually saw Dog A at the time of the incident, it was uninjured.

Provided by YP.comI was referred by a friend who had been using the clinic for years. They are absolutely wonderful. You can tell they love the animals, and they spend time talking to you about your pet. The staff has been there for years and are also very knowledgeable. Dr. Buntrock is a fantastic diagnostician and is very caring and trustworty. I can't recomment them too highly. Their prices are reasonable and they don't try to get you to spend unnecessary money...like other places I have been.

Provided by YPmobileI've been going to this veterinarian for 16 years. It is true that their waiting room is smal and sometimes is crowded with people who know and trust the service. My first experience wa with Shorty who I got at the age of 2, another local veterinarian hospital told me they couldnot seeme right away but would have a Dr. Call me, which they did 2 weeks later. I stopped by San Juan Veterinary Hospitalsnd spoke to Dr Tally she made an appointment right away for me. Dr Buntrock saw Shorty It turned out He had a severe case of heartworm and would have died while I waited for the otther veterinarian to call me.. Under their care Shortylived to 18 1/2 years. I also took my Pom to them who got excellent care also, he lived to 14 1/2 years. I now take my current dogs there and I am still happy with the service. Sometimes the staff is very busy and may seem like they are short but I have found when they have time they will try and address concerns but sometimes it is better to discuss things with one of the veterinarians.
