The company initially offered Japanese groceries and other ingredients to the local community and has become one of the leading retailers of deli products, grocery supplies and farm produce in the United States. Its merchandising department also offers Nijiya branded packaged rice and cultivates organic seeds and produce. In addition to traditional Japanese cuisine and fresh fruits and vegetables, the company provides a range of bakery products, such as sweet and soymilk bread, cakes, pastries, cookies and muffins. Nijiya Market operates more than 10 stores, including one in City of Industry, Calif.

I am an organic food love, and I frequently shop at Nijiya Market at Puente Hills. I particularly buy nothing but quality organic produce. Nijiya Market is the only store I truly trust their quality organic items because they grow their fresh produce at their own farm. Their store staff members are very helpful and efficient, Especially cashiers are always so pleasant, their welcoming attitude makes customers happy to come back to shop again and again. I give 5 stars for their customer service. There are many other local and Asian grocery stores, but Nijiya Market is exceptional. I am so glad Nijiya is expanding throughout California. I wish Nijiya Market comes in Irvine, CA someday, where increasing numbers of people are demanding their organic Japanese foods.
