I brought my moms king charles cavalier in for a wash and trim and hardly recognized her when I came back to pick her up. The salon manager groomed her and it seemed as tho they had been friends much longer then just a few hours. :) she looked and smelled amazing and literally pranced out the door! We couldnt be happier with the service at Clackamas Petco and plan on not only going back, but also telling our friends.

So many birds, fish, ext die there it's like wall mart. no one at petco really knows what there doing but they act like it. don't buy from people who just don't care. lets support the small stores support the local economy, cmon they buy from puppy mills that should tell you something about business morals.

I made sure the staff knew that my dog was 15 years old and she was suffering with major arthritis, and asked them to please make sure she is taken care of. I asked them to give her a lion cut and a bath. I am a veterinary technician and have been in the field for over 10 years and i heard someone talking about petco and that they did a good job with her chow, so that is the reason i took her there... When i went to pick her up they quickly handed me the leash and i was on my way. When we got home i noticed that she was hiding in places she never has before, and when i looked closer i noticed she had razor blade cuts all over her body and one of her ears was clipped and it looked like dried blood on her ear. I called them and complained and they said they did "the best they could". They are horrible with grooming and very disrespectful for not coming clean about the situation. NEVER AGAIN will i subject any animal to petco!Southgate grooming is the best!! Awesome work and great staff!

This Petco was always my favorite place to go for pet supplies. They were always very friendly and helpful to me. The dogs loved going there...and because it wasn't as large as PetSmart, it was easier to take them (this was when they were near SE 82nd & King Rd. I don't go as often as I would like, as they don't sell the brand of food I buy for my dog (can only be gotten at Natural Pet Food Stores for the most part). But if I decided to go back to the old brand I used for my last dog, I would be back here in a second.######The staff was always friendly and helpful...and loved the dogs when they came in.
