I shop at Talbert often for items not in the big box stores, and given it is much closer than the box stores, it is a gas and time saving. They are friendly, helpful, and congenial. There prices are less than Ace hdwe to the east.

The owner of this place is a complete idiot and extremely rude. I understand the prices are slightly higher than the big box stores for the convenience but 8.99 for a cheap 5 gallon bucket? Ridiculous.

Once I realized what I was overcharged for my items I returned to the store and added up all of the items by the labels posted in store and it came to $54, I was charged $65. When I asked for an itemized receipt, the owner was VERY rude and got all offensive. His first words to me where I didn't need to shop there if I didn't like it. What a great way to run a business! I was being polite and cooperative and I was told to not have an attitude. What a joke! I will NEVER shop at Talbert Hardware and NEVER recommend them to anyone. My business will go to Ace Hardware down the street.

Also the store is messy, unorganized, and cluttered.
