I have been to Walters on many occaisions.
The food is consistently fresh and delicious.
The menu has much to choose from and it is easy to eat healthy. The atmosphere is lovely and lively. Wine list also has very nice choices.

Or first time there. We came from Encino.\fun place, but the food. My girlfriend ordered Shrimp Scampi horribile! full of lemon, I mean it tasted like a a field of lemons were in there. I has short ribs, really good, good polenta, tender beef. She tried the noodles with shrimp really spicy, bad nice place bad food. Get a better chef please!!!!!!!!!!!! All in all we had a pretty good time. We met some really cool people.

I've eaten at Walter's restaurant 6 times in the past 3 years. Each time I've been disapointed in the food and each time I blame myself for ordering a wrong dish. However, on Saturday (7-21-07) I was entering some out of town guests and decided since the Walter's restaurant has such a beautiful setting, it would be the perfect choice. I decided to order the hamburger plate and thought they couldn't possibly mess that up - wrong! The patty was thin, dried-up and had to be cut (and hard to do) with a knife. The others in my party were very much disapointed in their meal too. Sad - since it's such a nice location with great ambience.
