Provided by YP.comFirst, let me say that no one should be allowed to write a review unless they can spell correctly and put words together in comprehensible sentences. The first two reviewers are off the mark, linguistically and gastronomically. I have been patronizing Yiannis since 1977, and I have never had a bad meal there whether it was brunch, lunch or dinner. I have entertained numerous guests always to their culinary delight. Yiannis is a lovely, family owned and operated Greek taverna that specializes in the most exquisite Mediterranean dishes. The soup is never bad. Rather it is the most delicious limonovulo this side of Athens. However, before the soup, one should always start with the ever engaging salivary specialty, fried cheese; feta soaked in Ouzo, lit and flaming on fresh pita. After the soup, enjoy a Greek salad that delightfully attacks the tastebuds with more feta and Kalamata olives. For the main course, I recommend the Souvlakia, tender, marinated cuts of the finest lamb, medium rare, of course, served over a bed of rice. One never needs to worry about dessert at Yiannis. Baklava and Mavrodaphne, the Greek's answer to Port, is always served with a smile. Bad service? Never at Yiannis. John, the owner would not permit his customers to leave without having experienced the best in Greek hospitality. Yiannis is great for any occasion.
