I have a Subaru Forrester and the transmission went out at 145,000 mi. They took it in and replaced the transmission. It wasn't cheap, but it was a lot cheaper than I was expecting. It is still running a year later. They were a little buggy when I took it in and talked to them because of the covid-19 was just starting. But they did great in my opinion.

It took 5 weeks to finally get my truck back and they still did not fix everything that I wanted them to fix not to mention what they did fix was not fixed properly.
