Hagie Manufacturing Company recently introduced the STS 10 to its line of self-propelled sprayers. With 1,000 gallons of spray capacity, powered by a 275-horsepower Cummins diesel engine and twin hydrostatic drive pumps, the STS 10 is slow to run out of power when it comes to running up hills and through mud. Hagie Manufacturing manufactures agricultural sprayers. A family-owned corporation, Hagie Manufacturing was originally a part of Hagie s Hybrids, one of the earliest hybrid seed corn companies to boost farm production. In 1948, the sale of detasseling equipment and spraying equipment made it necessary to form a second company, Hagie Manufacturing Company. Operating as a factory-direct marketing company, Hagie Manufacturing established itself firmly in the Midwest and throughout the nation as an innovator in custom chemical application technology.
