Dr Betesh is a 2005 graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was inducted in the National Osteopathic Honor Society. She completed a preliminary medicine internship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine/Elmhurst Hospital, where she was awarded “Intern of the Year”. She completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she was elected and served as chief resident. During her residency she co-authored a chapter about the management of gastrointestinal problems in patients with neurological disabilities in book titled “Management of Medical Problems in Adults with Neurological Disabilities”. She served as associate editor for the spinal cord injury edition of “Common Problems in Rehabilitation Medicine”. After residency Dr Betesh completed a fellowship in Pain Management in Anesthiology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr Betesh is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pain Medicine. She is also certified in Acupuncture. Dr Betesh’s practice focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to chronic pain including interventional procedures, acupuncture, electrodiagnosis and rehabilitation medicine.
