i've dealt with the clarkesville p.o. for over thirty years and feel fortunate for the quality of service they have provided me. my mail is delivered promptly, their attitude is always pleasant and professional when i go there, and i never once felt compromised. it has been my pleasure to call 30523 home. thanks to all you folks for doing such a great job.

This is the worst post office i have ever done business with. Every time i have something shipped to my p.o. box its either under paid and they are holding my package hostage until the amount is paid. or i receive a package that has obviously been opened by someone and the contents stolen. The open package placed in my post office box in that condition. they showed no sympathy to the fact that the item was clearly stolen and proceeds to say that its wasn't and came like that. Just fyi it came from the national consumer panel and they don't send packages like that. These people also proceed to tell me and my wife how we should speak when our children are with us. you do not tell a person how they should speak or tell them what to do. The post master especially shouldn't be the one telling you these things. they are your customers. we will be leaving this post office and going to another location that treats you with dignity and respect. if you do business with them i highly suggest going to the next post office as these people don't have respect for you.
