Provided by YP.comThe following information is provided from my adverse experience including the Sunset Motel 1200 Bridge Street and Facilities Across the street at and 1201 Bridge Street from this past summer of 2013 in Clarkston, Washington.I obtained a monthly rate assignment for $600.00 as of June 20 for monthly habitation in preparation for an engineering examinations schedule for late September. In anticipation in returning to the Lewiston, Idaho/Clarkston, Washington area for fall fly fishing for salmon and steelhead after the examination. This was cancelled primarily because of the Sunset Motel manager, owner and inhabitants.Reasons: The place is infested with dope dealers, indignants, bums, prostitutes, thieves including the manager Richard Mang 208-553-5610.Overview:The bedding provided is so old it is yellow stained and brownThe actual person that runs the area is a “thug” that supplements his income by selling his prescription narcotics and requested to barrow money from me. He also lives in his one bed with another male indigent and apparently sleeps and lives together with no visible means of support.Another habitant that was in close proximity were married with a young child and on welfare. The husband would not attempt to peruse employment, but was actively involved in vending drugs. I was even approached, “That I am selling drugs do you want any”. This individual was also wanting to barrow money from me and threatening. In Addition:On August 20th I paid Richard Mang $600.00 cash for another months rent, providing information that my upcoming engineering test is to be scheduled mid Sept. and I would make arrangements to determine if necessary to continue the rental agreement (This is a mom and pop motel with a daily rate of @ $45.00 a day). To make things short the “Thug” in the morning of Aug. 24th , when I went for coffee. Threatened me and said, “He was going to have my tires sliced”.I immediately packed up and left the Sunset Motel and contacted the so called manager Richard Mang and reported the incident. He agreed I had the right to leave and will be adjusted for the rent paid on Aug. 20. Which I would receive an adjustment for the remaining days previously paid for. After my engineering examination the Sunset Motel, Manager Richard Mang informed me, “That he has contacted the owner/operator. And they are keeping my money and there is nothing I can do about it”.Since I was in the Clarkston, Washington/Lewiston, and Idaho area anticipating steelhead fishing in the fall. Things have materialized in a failure and have I returned to Montana.

Provided by YP.comI chose this motel after seeing it online plus it's a mom and pop motel which I like. I must say it didn't disappoint me. The rooms were very clean, the bed marvelous and the linens and towels spotless.
Also as others have said the service here from Gina and Graham is first class, nothing is too much trouble for them. I needed a blanket for my dog so she could be comfortable on the hardwood floor and was pleasantly surprised when Graham not only brought a blanket but also a 3ft by 2 ft foam pad for her. So Maia had as comfortable nights sleep as I did.
I will be staying here again when passing thru or near Clarkston and I can recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone wanting a clean and comfortable place to stay.

Provided by YP.comI was travelling through Clarkston on my way to Seattle looking for a place to spend the night when I saw this motel. It was the retro 60's look to the place that attracted my attention.
It has 60's style service too as I found out when I went to check in. The manager is attentive and listens to you, also if you want you can check out your room before you decide to stay. I haven't had service as good as this for quite a while and it was wonderful to feel so appreciated.
Now on to the rooms. Each room is it's own separate little cabin style apartment with a covered carport right next to it. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, and have everything needed for a good stay. Like most places now their WIFI was free but I was surprised that even long distance phone calls are free too.
At $45 per night after my discount it was a bargain. I have paid more for much less in the past and the service I got was equal to if not better than places that cost twice as much. Trust me here as I travel quite a lot, the management here state that nothing is too much trouble and they live up to that promise.
Great place and great prices what more can you ask for. It's on my list for a return visit anytime I am in the area.

Provided by YP.comDespite the previous post I stayed here for three nights (June 18th-20th) and the motel was clean and the staff very friendly. The reason I only gave four stars is that the WIFI was slowish and the rooms do not yet have coffe makers in them. Although I was assured that this will soon be rectified.
All in all a nice place and I'll not hesitate to stay there again.

Provided by YP.comI Stayed here going through a Hard time in my life and needing a place intel I find a house.. I prepaid for 3 weeks Only stayed there for 2 weeks before I found a house to live in... 1st off they say its clean.. ITS NOT! and after 2 weeks of me being there NOT ONCE did they come in to clean the room or give you at least TP or new towels NOTHING... there HIGH SPEED INTERNET more like dial up and stopped working after 2 days of being there.... VERY RUDE. 2 weeks later I found a house signed out and will they give me any money back... HELL NO.. VERY DIRTY RUDE OWNER and just flat out a NASTY place I would go down the street in ether direction and much better and nicer people.. trust me this place is Dirty and RUDE...
This person created quite a few damages including two holes in the walls, also although I wasn't the manager at the time I have been assured by the previous manager that he refused any access to his room. The previous manager refused his request for a refund due to these problems which I feel was fully justified.
