I have rented from Enterprise before & used my debit card, made a deposit on the car I was renting, I have performed this twice. I tried to rent a car today, & I live with my son, although I help pay all the bills my name is not on any of them. I can say this if your from out of town, need a rent a car, or in town, & don't have a major credit card, do not call Enterprise. I suppose it didn't matter that I rented one twice before, & they were very happy to obtain my business. I had idenity theft in 2008-2009, & that you just don't get over. I have a military ID card, but that doesn't mean anything either. I wish everyone good luck who doesn't want to pay the high percentage rates on credit cards. I will give you this advice, if you live with anyone make sure your name is on the utilities, I really don't understand how that assures them that you will not "capture" their rental car, but anyway, just have something hooked up in your name, & your good to go where ever you wish, it doesn't matter if you have done business with them before, because their computers don't go back very far, as the girl was giggling & telling me these facts I was very unimpressed. I worked with the public for many years, & have never been so insulted in my life!!!
