I would not recommend Jim Coleman Honda. Most of the dealers are rude. We waited at minimum 30 minutes to be greeted. Our dealer made assurances that the auto we were looking for was not in stock but would be delivered in 48 hours. That was almost a week ago. They claim to price match and or beat other offers. But could not do so on an offer from Hagerstown Honda, which was $4,000 less than Colemans. We of course bought from Hagerstown, but so far Colemans has refused to refund the deposit. Do yourself a favor. Pass this dealership over.

Worst dealership and service

I only put 1 star because 0 wasn't an option

I was unfortunately in a situation where I HAD to purchase a vehicle. I was not prepared to buy new. I found what I was looking for in a used vehicle at Jim Coleman. I took the vehicle back a couple of weeks after purchasing it because the brakes and tires felt and looked more worn than they should have. The bottom line is they gave me the perverbial pat on the head and tried to send me on my way. I then called the used sales manager to explain the situation to him, and his exact words were "look let's face it, we are all here to make money. I can't very well go to my service manager and tell him he has to replace your brakes, he will not be happy with me." Therefore admitting the brakes probably should have been replaced prior to selling the vehicle. I then sent an email to the management of the dealership where I explained the whole story, asked for their help, and expressed that my husband would be in need of a vehicle soon. NO RESPONSE. I sent another email a few weeks later stating I would never purchase another vehicle from them. NO RESPONSE

I took the car in today for my "free" oil change and was told my brakes were completely worn down and had to be replaced, and that I needed an engine air filter and a cabin air filter. I asked how much those would cost, and was told $160. I then called the shop where I usually take my cars, and they told me it would be $80. REALLY? Double the cost? I went to the service manager again, and he tried to song and dance his way out of fixing the problem. I said bottom line is you won't take care of the brakes? He said absolutely not.

Bottom line-lesson learned on my end, but I would encourage all to stay clear of this dealership, based on my experience as well as the previous reviewers. They charge entirely too much for their add ons when purchasing a vehicle, and servicing a vehicle. And they take no responsibility for anything, and quite frankly treated me like a stupid female. They messed with the wrong chic!

One of the worst Honda dealer in Maryland. Be warned! We went to this dealership since they promised they will beat the price which we got from Anderson Honda. Worst decision ever, when we got there, we've met with Alex Chan and his manager George Bowie and they pulled a bad cop-good cop circus act in which they insisted the price we got was a price mistake. We walked out and the last offer was around $100 more than the price they promised that they are going to beat. The day we are to buy the car, I gave Alex Chan a call, since they are the closest honda dealership to us, I told them if we go there now we want to close the deal even though they are around $100 higher. He agreed but he acted stupid and made us feel like we owe something to him since he agreed. Finally we decided to purchase the car from Anderson Honda even though Alex Chan finally said if we come in, he is gonna match the price and no more games. We finally decided to go with Anderson Honda and transaction went smoothly. The lesson here is if you are looking for a car, please don't forget that yes you are buying a product but you are also buying their service which is the way the dealer treats you. When George Bowie was playing the bad cop role (being rude), we promised to give his dealership an honest review and here it is.

JUST PLAIN HORRIBLE!! Compare your price quotes before visiting Jim Coleman Honda!!

Thoroughly disgusted with the efforts that were made to help me. Jim Coleman "Salespeople" were inconsiderate, not just one but both I had dealt with were too pushy, rude and did not seem to care about the colors I wanted. More interested in just giving me a discount on the car instead of trying to find me my favorite color. Then they put extra equipment that the dealer down the road did not put on and tried to charge me $750.00 extra and told me the would not take it off but they would bring the price down by a whopping 125.. I later found out that there was a reason why their deal looked better than other dealers. They put this junk on their cars, propose a lower price, then surprise you when you arrive to make up the difference in profit compared to another dealers price which I later found out was and Honest price but I had to find out for myself, Coleman would not disclose it over the phone. I should have known right away that something was wrong with the quote I received over the phone. I spoke with the manager after the fact and he was considerate but seemed to not care too much for my concern about the sales people and said they were only trying to help. I was very considerate to the salespeople at Coleman and I only wanted that in return and not to be pushed around. It did not even start out as a hello or a handshake. It was this exactly “ what car do you want, what payment are you trying to get to and how much are you putting down” . Here I am preparing to spend a lot of money and I will NOT give it to people that are not professional in nature. They really need to get their act together. BOTTOM LINE, SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE THAT CARES ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AND DOES NOT PLAY GAMES WITH PRICES OR MAKES YOU TAKE ACCESSORIES THAT CAN COST YOU IN THE END AGAINST OTHER DEALERS IN THE AREA. TAKE MY ADVICE AFTER WORKING WITH SEVERAL HONDA DEALERS. JIM COLEMAN HONDA IS THE LEAST INTERESTED IN GIVING THE BEST DEAL. THEY ARE MORE INTERESTED IN HIGH PRESSSURE AND THEIR BOTTOM LINE! P.S. The same equipment they tried to charge me $750.00 for cost 220. total at the other dealer if I wanted it. I found out why the difference in the price quote was so significant.
