Provided by YP.comGreat staff. Caring, compassionate and explanations were on the mark. I would definitely recommend this clinic without any reservation. I even thanked the dentist for pulling my tooth. I’m not looking forward to more dental work but I have absolutely no doubts about where I will be getting it done.

Provided by YP.comIf I didn't have to give 1 star by default, I would give this place a -5 star rating! Extremely rude staff! I had to cancel an appointment that I had, and I tried calling SEVERAL times on the Friday before my appointment to cancel, and was not able to get in touch with anyone any of the times I called. I was also unable to leave a message (it didn't give me an option.) I didn't want to be charged the fee for not canceling, so I went to my email and emailed them and explained why I was canceling and that I would need to reschedule. Monday morning I received a phone call from Back to Basics, and whoever I was speaking to was extremely unprofessional and rude. I explained that I had tried to call, and the staff member said "Well, I was here all day on Friday!" She was pretty much saying that I didn't call. Anyway, I explained that I sent an email, and I was put on hold 2 times for an extended period of time. I was told that for next time I needed to call and cancel my appointments. Not only did I try, but if sending an email to cancel an appointment is not an option, then why bother sending me a confirmation email and asking me to reply?????? The staff member then preceded to ask me what was the reasoning for canceling my appointment.... (If they would have read the email, they would have known)! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, and pick another dentist. If you're looking for a place to go to empty out your wallet and be treated like a piece of crap this is your go to place! I am disgusted with the quality service and care!!!!
I am responding to Taylor M.'s comment dated 6/23/15. Back 2 Basics Dentistry constantly strives to meet the needs of all of our patients. We have been fortunate to have an amazing base of patient's that respect the time that is set aside for their appointments and only occasionally cancel or reschedule due to a last minute conflict or emergency. This is not the type of office that you can just habitually cancel or not show for an appointment. The office does not double book appointments and the dental team spends a lot of time with each individual patient. Unfortunately, due to healthcare privacy laws, you will only hear one side of this story.

Provided by YP.comAlmost everything I had done there I have to get redone. I had my first metal partial made there and it was painfuI until it broke a tooth a few weeks later. I was told it was a weak tooth and had to pay for that and it keeps popping out. I had a root canal and crown done there that is now a failed root canal. Seems to be run like an assembly line. Dentists are very impatient and just want to get to the next patient waiting in the next room.

Provided by YPmobileI went to B2B as a new patient this year for a cleaning after not seeing the dentist for a year. After my cleaning was finished I was told I had 10 cavities. Instead of questioning or getting a second opinion, I trusted them and scheduled an appointment to get half of them filled.
When I went to my appointment, the denist did not put enough Novocain in my mouth and I could feel the drill. (Awful experience for someone afraid of dentists). She put more Novocain in and seemed really annoyed and rushy. Luckily I didn't have anymore issues THAT DAY.
3 weeks later my gums still hurt, I have realized one composite filling was not filed down for a smooth surface and floss/food keeps getting trapped there. And another filling is so sensitive that I have to drunk fluids from a straw. I will be going to another dentist soon.

Provided by YP.comI have been a patient for many years and have had very positive experiences. All of the staff are very kind and helpful. I recently had my teeth whitened and am very pleased with the results. I would recommend this procedure and this dentist.

Provided by YP.comI have been a patient here for the last couple of years and i would just like to say I LOVE BACK 2 BASICS!!!! Every time im on the schedule i get a courtesy to remind me of my appointment which i love because im so forgetful. All the people who work for them are so nice. One of the things that really keeps me going back is the staff is always the same and they remember me by name. The girls at the front desk are always so accomodating and work with my busy schedule!! I will keep recommending this office to everyone i know!!

Provided by YP.comAfter reading some of these reviews, I have to say I definately don't agree with what some people have written. I was recently seen for my first cleaning appointment. It has been several year since I have been to the dentist, so I was a little nervous to schedule an appointment. From the time I called to set up my appointment until I walked out the door, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to come back in 6 months. The doctors and staff were AMAZING! They went above and beyond to make my dental experience enjoyable. I would recommended them to anyone.

Provided by YP.comBack to Basics is much better than most dental offices that I have gone to! Dr. Jones is the best! We never have a long wait and it is always fresh & clean! The only thing really obnoxious is the TV blaring with the dental education channel!

Provided by YP.comThis place is terrible!! We have been going here for more than 5 years and every time we go, the care and atmosphere gets worse. Every time we have gone in the past 2 years they have had all new staff, with the exception of Dr. Biter/Cornell. When we do go, we feel like they are being inconvienced. Why can't they keep help? They are closed every Friday and every holiday, including Columbus, Veterans, Presidents day, and all DONSA's. Seems to me that nobody there wants to work. They sure don't appreciate their patients. They sent us a bill for a cleaning that my husband had, they couldn't wait for the insurance, they wanted us to pay. I contacted the insurance and sure enough, they were paid!! Greedy!!! When you want to switch dentists, they will charge you $20 per patient for records. They will squeeze every dime they can out of you. I believe this is the worst dentist in Clarksville. I would give it a zero star if I could. I can't say enough bad things about them!!! BEWARE!!

Provided by YPmobileI almost cancelled my appointment after reading these reviews. I'm glad I didn't. I have always hated going to the dentist and have often avoided it completely because of my fears. I HAD to get some dental work done and finally made an appointment...after 8 years of not going. Dr. Cornell was fabulous and extremely concerned about making sure I was comfortable and numb. Everybody was more than kind and accommodating. I've now had three appointments and an almost finished with my dental work. I'm pleased to say, I will no longer avoid dental appointments, but regularly get my teeth cleaned and maintained. Thank you Dr. Cornell and staff for being exactly what I needed to feel relaxed and comfortable!

Provided by YP.comThis place obviously is not the place to go. I have been there a few times and everytime I go it's new front desk people and new assistant's. If they cant keep the same people what does that show. I have never been to an office that change's employees so much, I understand this is a military town but not every one here is military so thats not an excuse. Not happy with them at all. I miss their old staff members.

Provided by YP.comTerrible business policies. No customer loyalty in place. We have been using this dentist for almost 5 years now and we chose it because we were new in town and was closest dental office to where we lived. On 3 occasions their office did unnecessary dental procedures on my child that they told me would be covered by my insurance company and come to find out they were not and i got a bill for those services. I was upset then, but i did get over it. But, now I have had my last straw. Over the years, we have never missed a dental appointment and recently we did and was charged a $40.00 no show fee without any regards to as why we missed or the fact that a family emergency may have arisen. My beef is that i could understand if we missed one before and it was habitual, but no. No questions asked and boom give me your money. Being a loyal customer gets you nowhere these days.

Provided by YP.comI don't agree with the review previous to mine. I have been to this dental office many times and have always had a great experience. I love my hygienist (can't remember her name) and Dr. Cornell, I think she used to be Dr. Bitner, is always caring and understanding. Her dental nurses are great too. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring dentist and nurses.
