I just went, unannounced, to tour the facility. I had a welcoming and positive experience. The owner came to greet me and although she was clearly busy, she was friendly and informative anyway. She showed me to the infant rooms and introduced me to the teachers there. These women were incredibly sweet and gave me tons of information. The room was quiet, cozy, clean and orderly. I am still months away from needing childcare but I saw and experienced nothing there that would make me uneasy leaving my child with them.

My daughter just went to the center to check into possible child care at this facility. After waiting at the locked door in 90 degree weather, no doorbell, no response to knocking on the door , a parent that was leaving the facility opened the door and to allow us in. While waiting for ANYONE to acknowledge my daughter being there, the staff was talking so degrading to the children, hollering at a child Michael over and over. It was appalling to witness the verbal belittling of the children as 2 ladies sat on a table while the children were running around. To hear about how they can not stand to 'even look at the child with the runny nose" and "how the mom doesn't know how to take care of the child" is unacceptable. Apparent unhappy and disgruntled staff I have to ask if this is how you deal with the children in the facility on a daily basis. Easy decision for my daughter to turn around and leave. Oh by the way, even though the staff looked at my daughter standing there, she never did receive any acknowledgement from the staff. Thank you for making the decision so easy to not choose your business.

I love it here! My daughter has been going there since she was one and a half. I am a teacher and I am beyond happy with Golden Apple, all the staff, and the director, Mrs. Sheila, she is wonderful!!!!
