I absolutely LOVE this place and so does my boyfriend and most of our friends and family. Could not ask for better food and they serve lamb, chicken and goat! Mm mm good!!

I am a long-time regular customer. Tandoor has many dishes to try and they all have their own unique taste. The food can be ordered to whatever level of spiciness you prefer. If you are tired of all of the chain restaurants in Clarksville, this is the place for you, if you like bland, line up with everyone else on a Friday and Saturday evening at the chains.

My hubby and I just moved to Clarksville from Memphis. I was so excited when I found out that there was an Indian restaurant here. We went for the buffet and I can promise you I won't be back. Everything tasted extra greasy and sort of like a fast food version of Indian cuisine. I am shocked that people are actually calling this the best Indian food they've ever eaten. Sitar(located in Nashville) is a thousand times better. As far as ambiance....it's in a strip mall. Yeah there are some pillows on the floor but that doesn't make up for the fact that I am fairly certain they used mayonnaise in their raita(yogurt sauce). It was really nasty and just so wrong. So, the next time I am craving tikka masala I will just have to hop in the car and take a drive to Nashville because I won't go back to Tandoor.

I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER AT TANDOOR,I LOVED IT,I ATE THERE AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK,UNTIL; AFTER CHURCH 2 WEEKS AGO ME AND MY DAUGHTER WENT TO EAT,THE OWNER BROUGHT OUT FOOD AND USED HIS BARE HAND PICK UP SOME FOOD LEFT IN THE PAN AND PUT IT ON THE BUFFET,THEN HE WALKED TO THE VEGETABLE TRAY TAKES OUT A COUPLE PIECES OF FOOD AND DIPS IN THE THAT MINT LOOKING SAUCE,,I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES; OTHER PEOPLE HAD TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD SEEN HIM HANDLE FOOD WITH HIS HANDS BUT I DIDNT BELIEVE IT UNTIL I SAW IT FIRST HAND; I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN,,THE HELP IS AWFUL;
