Brandywine School District is a Delaware public school district located in Claymont, Del. The school district offers educational and extracurricular programs to more than 10,000 students in over 15 schools. It offers one early education center, elementary, intermediate, middle, and high schools, and special programs, such as intensive learning center, gifted program, and a community school. The Brandywine School District is the only public school system in the state to offer the international baccalaureate program. Various sport and athletic programs offered by the school district includes football, soccer, cross-country, basketball, wrestling, indoor track, swimming, baseball, tennis, golf, track and field, and lacrosse. The district frequently measures the progress of students and reports on performance.
