WARNING - we have purchased and had installed 2 car auto starts and alarm systems and a car audio for my Ford Escape in the past. My wife fab has been a constant issue over more than 2 years. she would bring it in and you would correct it. today she came over and you SMUGLY SUDDENLY wanted $60. We had planned to buy car audio with Sirius for her Crossfire this Christmas, also a new stereo for my collector car this Christmas - GUESS WHAT - YOU LOST OUR BUSINESS and I'll be posting this on EVERY RATING SITE out there. STAND BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT

I purchased a Kenwood DDX7701 head unit from Tri-State sound in Claymont.. I received excellent customer service and support while making my purchase.. They were even good enough to ship this item to me all the way to Canada.. Unfortunately,I have since learned that the device is not compatible with my current cell phone and I will not be able to use it as originally intended. I contact Tri-State customer service and was informed that I was past the 30 Day exchange period.. At the time this this review was written Tri State has NO indication of a 30 day return policy anywhere on their website.

The policy clearly states that the item, if returned past 14 days from date of purchase must be in original packaging and will be subject to a $35.00 restocking fee (Which I gladly agreed to pay). My head unit has NEVER left the box it was shipped in, and the fact that I am prepared to pay the return shipping on this item with a VERY weak Canadian dollar should be a pretty clear indication that I have exhausted ALL options to trying to make this work..



Regardless, be VERY careful when making a purchase of any kind from this establishment.. They are extremely co-operative until they have you money.. Then you're basically on your own..



Hopefully those of you who are reading this will learn from my mistake.

I am a 19 year old female that knows nothing about car music systems but when imwent into the Sound of Tristate they not only gave me amazing prices, they explained to me how they work, how different ones works better than others and so much more. They can also install your system right there! They also offer security systems, surround systems for TVs, DJ sets and more. They also have such a nice setup it's like a toymstore for anyone who has a passion form cars. I would refer this store to anyone !
