I would say that the staff is rude but a more accurate assessment is that they are never there and when they are they ignore you. The equipment is filthy and needs repair. The lifeguards are children who need supervision themselves. The locker rooms are dirty. One of the bathrooms for the pool is locked and the other has blown light bulbs so you can't see your hand in front of your face. This lasted all summer. So I had to take my daughter in the mens locker room each time to use the bathroom. If you call, the automated system directs you to dial 4 for the front desk but then says invalid entry. I have gone by Lions Gate 6 times to cancel and still have not found anyone there. I finally found a cell number for the manager and was told to go behind the counter and find the cancellation forms myself. I filled them out and the next day received a call that although I have been trying to cancel for over a month I would be charge for another month because I had to give 30 days notice. I instructed them not to draft my account but of course they did. Called the golf club and they answered the phone. I explained the situation and asked for a number to call a manager or someone that could help me. The guy at the golf club was also rude. He said if I couldn't find anyone at Lions Gate and Riverwood won't answer the phone I should have driven to Riverwood to try and find someone. So I guess it's my fault that they have ZERO customer service. This is not an ethical company. While I did appreciate the bible verses on the wall on the gym at Lion Gate, I wish the ownership would take those words to heart and treat people fairly.

Regret our move here

They harass some homeowners and fine them for trivial things and others can pretty much do anything. The staff is rude and talks down to you. They act like you are such a bother when you ask for some info. The athletic club is dirty and nasty. Member sweat all over the equip and are not required to wipe it down after use. E mails and phone calls are never answered.

If you desire to be treated with dignity and respect, Go play elsewhere. The course will certainly give you your money's worth, however, the staff and in particular the head pro Andrew could really use a class/lesson in good customer service. I booked three tee times for a late Sunday afternoon for our league play. Our league normally consistent of 12 to 16 golfers on any given Sunday. I was responsible for booking this particular Sunday and our league stipulation is that we won't exceed $30.00 for the round. Therefore, I was very specific in negotiating our rate with the young lady that booked the tee times. She and I quote - "no problem, we can get your groups out for $30.00. Upon arriving at the course, several golfers were made to pay $35.00. Andrew even went as far as to ask the two gentlemen if they were sure they were at the right course and proceeded to point the board displaying the name of the course and pointing to the rate of $35.00. He even indicated that they didn't have a young lady that worked on staff. Upon my arrival, I communicated to Andrew that I was the one who booked the tee time and asked politely are you saying you don't have a young lady that works here that books tee times because it was a young lady that booked the tee times. He retracted his statement that they didn't have a young lady that worked there, by saying we got a young lady that's fairly new, but she doesn't have the authority to quote a rate of $30.00, Andrew, refused to honor the rate quoted by an employee who obviously works for him. The kicker was when Andrew sent two of his cart gentlemen to take one of our carts after we had already played 5 holes. We were in the last group and because our tee time was already late(3:20), the conditions were/cart path only we had three carts in the interest of speeding up play slightly with having a third cart. The cart gentlemen could not understand his request either because they were not busy or in need of the cart. One of the cart gentlemen. stated he can sometime be a "#####". We are all professional gentlemen, who certainly won't sweat five dollars, but the principal of good customer service being ignored by someone calling himself a "head pro" it not an establishment that would ever have to worry about our group patronizing their establishment again. It should be noted that there were four gentlemen walking out of the clubhouse that came out after having finished their round and stated that these people are "rude at this track".
