Provided by YP.comThree of us stopped in for supper at the Rabbit Ears on a Saturday evening, while on our way back from Wyoming. The place was busy, but we were seated at a table right away. The menu listed rice, beans, & sopapillas as being included in the list of dinners we ordered from; however, if we wanted chips & salsa, which is automatic, & FREE, at all resturants in our local area, we'd have to pay for them HERE. Our waitress seemed pleasant enough as we gave her our orders, but when she brought my daughter's dinner with no beans & rice, & we questioned her about it, she didn't know they were supposed to be included & offered to bring some "on the side". The enchiladas & tamale were all good, but the beans & rice were nothing to write home about; we'd all had better at other places. Also, we were not offered any tortillas to go along with our meal, although this is standard procedure at good Mexican resturants. To finalize the experience, our waitress brought our ticket without ever offering us the sopapillas which were supposed to be included in our meals, & when we questioned her about it, her feathers obviously got ruffled: she, again, did not know what the menu states. She went off to discuss this with someone & finally returned with the dessert, very grudgingly placing them on the table. After that, she had a scowl every time she passed by our table, never offering more tea, & never asking if we needed anything else.
